Modernization of the military transport aircraft avionics to meet requirements of the B-RNAV operation.
Newly installed avionics system is based on the Rockwell Collins products - ADF,VOR/ILS, DME, TACAN, XPDR, TCAS, EFIS display system backed-up by RMI and CDI indicators. FreeFlight 2101 GPS system was also integrated into the system. The BPAP-26M interface unit provides connection between GPS and the autopilot to facilitate the automatic route guidance.
