The modernization of the light combat/trainer aircraft L-39ZA.
The aim of the modernization was to comply with the requirements for the B-RNAV flights.
The modernized navigation system consists of VOR/ILS, DME, ADF, TACAN and GPS system. All the navigation data are displayed on the MFD-255K multifunctional displays and the back-up indicators.
Interface units already developed for other programs covering compatibility between the "Russian" and "Western" avionics systems were completed by new BPP-39 ZA SK unit specifically designed for this program.
