The new system G600 is a direct successor of very successful integrated system G1000. In comparison to G1000 which has been supplied only to the brand new manufactured aircrafts, the system G600 is destined for modernization of aircraft in already in operation.
Two LCD displays, each with diagonal of 6,5'', are both vertically orientated in a common frame 10" wide what represents a space usually needed for 6 mechanical indicators with a diameter 3". The remaining speed-indicator, artificial horizon and altimeter can be removed and used as back-up instruments.
Big LCD displays with a resolution of 640x480 points have outstanding distinction, big viewing angle, brilliant colors and excellent readability in a direct sunlight. Left display functions as a Prime Flight Display (PFD) and display the information regarding the position, speed, vertical speed, height and course. Right display functions as multifunctional display (MFD) and displays the moving map, information about the ground beacons, flight planes, JEPPESEN landing maps, etc…
