GTX328 was designed especially for the markets in Europe. GTX328 meets the European requirements for the S-Mode transponders with reduced requirements for certification for flying in VRD conditions and is designed for use in aircrafts VFR/Classe 2. The parameters reduction brings a very pleasant price reduction in comparison to IFR transponder GTX330.
GTX328 gives the pilot similar to GTX330 information about the air temperature outside the cabin, flight level, contains the stopwatches and allows the INPUT of the ID code via front control panel. In comparison to GTX328 it does not have the functions TIS, EHS and ADS-B.
