Up-coming ADS-B out mandate for Cessna 500/501/550/551/S550 and 560’s Citation owners / operators

Dear Cessna users,
Certainly, you are aware of the up-coming ADS-B out EASA mandate for all aircrafts operated in European Air Space...

The mandate applies to all aircrafts with an MTOW exceeding 5,700 kg (12,566 pounds) or having a maximum cruising true airspeed capability greater than 250 knots.

In principle, the mandate says about need to have installed a WAAS GPS Receiver (a precise enough source of position), ADS-B out compliant transponder (to be able to transmit also the GPS position) and a way how to inform the pilot/s in case there is a ADS-B out malfunctioning.

CLS, as an EASA PART 21J/G certified organization and existing since 1997, is fully able to provide you with a tailored ADS-B out solution based on your currently installed equipment and your available budget.

All we need for providing you with a price proposal for planning purposes, is the following:

  1. The list of currently installed avionics.
  2. Your expectations / requirements about the scope (basic, elementary, advanced…), if you are looking for a simple / most economical solution just meeting the ADS-B out requirements or you would like to use the opportunity and undergo a more complex modernization, using new MFDs (Multifunctional Displays) providing the pilot/s with a glass cockpit solution.
  3. Your time schedule / plan for the modernization.
  4. Your budget expectations.
